Is High-Intensity Laser Therapy right for you?

If you are currently experiencing pain or have lingering aches and pains from a previous injury, the answer is likely "yes". Have other therapies helped you feel better, but there is still a nagging pain that never totally resolves? Deep Tissue Laser therapy is probably for you. Laser therapy increases circulation to damaged tissue, helping speed recovery. Laser therapy can help you return to the activities you enjoy, so you can get back to living pain free again, by reducing swelling, decreasing pain and accelerating recovery.

Laser therapy is clinically proven to reduce pain and inflammation and is endorsed by the World Health Organization, the American Physical Therapy Association and the International Association for the Study of Pain®. Come in and feel the difference Deep Tissue Laser Therapy can make.

High-Intensity Laser Therapy (HILT) vs. Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) vs. Red Light Therapy (RLT)

As a Class IV laser, the LightForce XLi laser delivers up to 40 Watts (HILT) of therapeutic energy whereas other Class IIIb lasers deliver from .5W to 3W (LLLT). HILT and LLLT utilize photobiomodulation (PBM) to influence cellular activity, promote circulation and support the body's natural recovery processes. Tapping into the power of PBM, HILT (up to 40W) provides a controlled and concentrated dose of targeted near-infrared laser light energy to deliver therapeutic energy deep into soft tissues, joints and muscles to reduce pain and stiffness by influencing cells at a mitochondrial level.

In contrast, RLT typically uses low-powered LEDs that produce broader, more superficial effects. HILT is widely used in clinical settings to support musculoskeletal conditions, while RLT is more commonly found in wellness centers and at-home devices. While RLT can offer temporary benefits such as mood improvement or skin tone enhancement, it lacks the power and tissue penetration necessary to impact deeper musculoskeletal structures. It is not designed for clinical use or complex injury recovery. RLT treatments are generally non-invasive and commonly marketed for cosmetic or wellness purposes.
